New Parking Driveway -Dig Save Flag from National Grid

When I first spotted these tiny yellow flags from the upstairs window I saw red. Could our parking spot be jeopardized? I'm a bit phobic that way but in the process of overcoming it. Upon closer look I saw it's national grid kindly marking the gas line that comes into our house.
