More Wallpaper to Remove

I didn't think that I had to (ever) again but the crown moldings came off in the room that is now part of the kitchen (since the wall is gone) and there it was, an old bridle very green wallpaper border that needs to be removed. And while I'm scraping along, antique dust landing on my head and on every surface below, memories of me balancing on a very tall ladder stripping off all the wallpaper in the hallway pass by.

I hate wallpaper. Especially taking it down. Did you just scrape away or use some kind of product to help remove it?

Do I sense a little bit of aversion there, Ethan. Well, I am not a fan either, but this little border came off like a charm with a scraper tool only. And now it's over. I can't think of a place where more wall paper could be hiding out.

Wallpaper has taken good years from my life. Not really but removing wallpaper is one of my least favorite jobs. I've tried scoring the paper, products to dry up the glue holding it on. Neither worked well.

I'm sorry to hear that..., and you're right, none of these products work. I guess time was on my side, all the wallpaper here was probably as old as the house itself and came off without much resistance.
