Just flat ceiling paint over plaster doesn't do it in a bathroom and I kind of knew it but thought who knows perhaps it's fine. Well it wasn't. Paint started to lift here and there because of the moisture and it had to be addressed now. So I scraped the ceiling and Peter smoothed it all out with joint compound. I will use primer and be painting the bathroom ceiling with high gloss interior/exterior white paint. That'll be rock solid and withstand all the steam created from long hot showers.
