I bought these Bamboo Roman Shades at K-Mart a while ago and the reason why they're still hanging, blocking 1/4 of the light and the view in their rolled up position is because the windows are in the kitchen where construction dust still circulates and I don't want to mount something new just yet. One of them also stopped functioning properly since a pull up string gave out.

Sometimes I just want to look great when I'm home remodeling..., stay away from the all transparent models though.
